Panaracer is part of the giant Panasonic Group in Japan. Bicycle manufacturing is part of Panasonic's history. Today Panasonic continue this history by manufacturing in their own factory based in Japan a  world leading range of tyres and tubes in their Panaracer factory  and have done so since 1978.

MTB models are in two categories:

1) Aramid bead models , lightweight, competition based, with the latest technology of compounds and design,

2) Wire bead models, at a lower cost but incorporating the same designs and rubber technology.
